some times i agree and other times i disagree... the z is a little faster then it was when i raced your boys evo plus my 2 step rev limiter and another part will be on here soon "cant wait" my eclipse had Everything EXCEPT a upgraded turbo. I just got tired of putting money into that car because i wasn't really going faster and faster it was pretty much maxed out for that puny t-25 i had a big 18g ported and cliped on order at one point but i cancled it and said fuck it i miss 300zx's that i use to own so i went back.

ive owned

86 na 300zx
85 turbo 300zx
90 twin turbo 300zx
95 gsx eclipse
97 gsx elcipse
94 twin turbo 300zx

as you can see im pretty into nissan's and dsm's.

Just registered on the site, someone told me about this thread. Heh, I was the guy in the WRX. I don't doubt that the EVO would have beaten me. But I got the scan tool on my car because it wasn't feeling right (or sounding right). My car's pulling timing 20-45 Degrees and dumping a fuel trim of 30+. SO I'm thinking my plugs are bad. I don't know that I'd want a rematch, but I know it'd be closer. That and I don't want to sound like a sore loser. But damn that's a fast evo.

Yea ill give him props when it comes to his evo. It one of the more faster ones plus i gotta give ihm credit when launching the car. It took me awile to figure out how to learn how to launch my AWD eclipse i use to own. Its not just revving it up and dumpin the clutch and maybe blippen the gas to get traction its you feather the hell out of the clutch till you have boost and then let off the clutch and keep the gas floored. im hoping when my 2 step comes is on my car ill be able to get my car out of the hole better wile being in boost. Now i just gotta get a set of tires to keep the traction to the ground.

But yea deff the evo is quick.

I got new tires that don't spin worth crap. Thats good and bad at the same time. The old tires it was a lot easier to launch the car. These tires take more skill since they have so much more grip, its gonna take a little more practice. Plus with the loss of torque now in the low end it makes it that much harder. I just put in my shifter bushings and shifter fork bushings today, so thats another thing I have to get used to. I'll race again, just not before teckademics. I'd rather break the car up there than on the street and not be able to go.

yea i hear ya ive got to put a few things on my car before i race again to...

right now I REALLY need tires even just replacements of the same tires i have would be nice because right now i have 2 plugs in one tire and just about no more rubber and should be showing some metal cords soon... "not good" plus I need to get my 2 step rev limiter in my car so i have some what of a chance of hanging with you out of the gate but after that its all fair and fun... But yea man some time id like to just go to the track like m i r and have some fun and see what goes down..

good luck getting ur car setup as i know ill need some to...
