don't you get tired of seeing it spelled with an "H"??

and he was reffering to how the engineers at Honda designed it to have the "effect" of boost without having turbocharging equipment installed on their race cars.

So shutup and quit being a retard.

btw.. I am not a mechanic but I do know that there are wires coming out of the firewall that connect on the backside/passenger side of the the engine that are the Vtec wiring, and if you cut those wires the car still drives (i believe) but it just never uses the upper lifters. Look in a Haynes Manual to check the wiring if you think its not working, or just hit it hard in second and take it up higher in the rpms. Vtec kicks in between 4000 - 6000 or 4000 - 7000 rpms depending on the car. You should hear the engine rev up a lot louder and feel a little more torque when it hits vtec.
