Re: Vday restaurant
Ruths Chris is booked throughout the weekend, but bar tables are always available. Also they start serving lunch on Friday and here on out every Friday with a slight variation in menu.

Re: Vday restaurant
Ruth's Chris is always a pretty nice choice. Buckhead's is also another very nice steak house (and a non-chain alternative).
In Carytown, as far as nice restaurants go my favorite is The Track, closely followed by Acacia. Amici is also excellent and Can Can Brasserrie (although a little loud) is nice, too. Lemaire, at the Jefferson, is an excellent restaurant, but very pricey and good luck getting in their this late. Also Downtown, I like Bookbinders. In the Fan, there are places like the White Dog, Bacchus, and Avalon. If you want to go to the West End, one of my Favorites is definitely Angela's. Chez Max is also very good.
Look on the Style Weekly website and you can get a brief outline of lots of the great non-chain restaurants around town (Chains suck). Here, I found a link -- http://styleweekly.com/article.asp?idarticle=11434

Re: Vday restaurant
I just broke up with my ex-gf, so it doesn't really make a difference, but I have the privilege of having a Calculus 2 test Wednesday night. Whoooooo.
jjkamikaze -- where near/in Regency is Texas de Brazil? I haven't been in there much recently, despite my parents living just a few miles from there.
