Re: F-Body Meet....Part II
I'm going to inherit this site as a thread for f-body guys to chat on about various things. First, it's now Day 4 without my car. I never would have thought a simple change in gears would be such an incredibly long and drawn out process.
Second, I test drove the SRT-8 Charger last night. Absolutely loved it! (the Fiance' thought that maybe I should be focusing on the wedding that is in 6 months... what does she know!? ) My thoughts are on either Greenbrier dodge or Dodge in general. Everywhere I look the SRT-8's MSRP is around 35,000. The MSRP for that car is 49,000$ He said he could give me a deal on it for 43,000$ and it all ready has 4300 miles on it. I can't wait to find one of them on the road (granted people actually buy them). That'll make me feel better. Just a little rant about cars, I've been fumming about it all night. Why is it that I always get the "I've been on the job for 6 hour" rookie that knows nothing about haggling?

Re: F-Body Meet....Part II
It was unbelieveable. I completely enjoyed it. F-body's aren't exactly known for their luxorious ride. But it was a pleasure. If he would have said 38k, I probably would have walked out of their with it last night. I'd like to see how much they put down stock. Rated at 425... wonder what goes down to the wheels. AND i'd like to know what rear gears they have in them. Definitely put me back in my seat. I'm also not a big fan of displacement on demand (or whatever Dodge calls it) I'm young but I enjoy the old school rumble of the constant V-8.
