V4 LOL.... Anyways, I would suggest not using a dark background, and use colors that are shades of each other for contrast (much like SoulD said) the other thing is I would ditch the scribbly-assed looking fonts, get something thats a sans-serif font that is easily embossed and easy to read to allow for mouseovers and similar effects. If you need help with graphics let me know I have done some graphic work over the past few years and would be willing to help, One thing I would also consider is what audience are you looking to attract? That should be your primary reason why your website looks any given way.
