ok, click on the link below, and that shows the map of where 58 goes to 460. right after you get on 460, there's a gas station. i'm going to show up there about 7:15 and leave at 7:30. anyone who wants to meet up, post. once again, i will have copies of the directions.

no, it's wasn't cancelled. it was a great event, everything went alomst perfectly smooth. except for me that is. the car handled totally worse 1/2" lower now. the first two runs i probably looked like a novice out there the way i was understeering. i'm going to raise up the front back to where it was before to help out the balancing, and see what that does next time. My best was a 56.2 or 56.3 i can't remember. i know that one GS-R was running 54.9. a civic si in the last heat looked pretty fast too, but i don't know what he ran. it was still a fun event, great weather, and very challenging course (easy to go through, difficult to master). james and josh (with the 95 stang) are the only other drag members i seen there.

Yeah, it was a good time. Very wide open course and fast. I had to hit 3rd a few times. Although I was definately not the fastest (the guy with the other blue M3, a national level driver, still had me by about 2.5 seconds, his best time being 50.7 or so and close to FTD) I still did very well considering I made a lot of changes to the car. My times (my best being 53.149) were still definately faster than most, it will be interesting to see how the PAX turns out.
The course was nominally a 60 sec course or so, so I feel pretty good. Of the people I knew that were beating me, most of them were national level drivers. I will definately be going back to future VMSC events
I know Pungo was a good time, but I will get my fill of Pungo in 2 weeks when I go to the Evolution School !

Didn't get to run
I got to ride along with Banshee in his Stang for 3 runs. Very fun can't wait for March 30th. Atleats than I can run my Cobra. It was a blast. Great day for it too. Seems a good deal for the money too. We got a little bit of a drive down there but it was worth it. See you all at the next Auto X.
