my friend darren who used to work at california tint opened up his own shop with his cousin dave. They do good work for the price...around 120, 150 or so...its somwhere in fairfax near the multiplex cinema on lee highway....

My friend is getting (probably already has gotten, actually) his tint done today by the guy who tints all the FCPD car windows, for $200-250ish w/ a life time warranty IIRC. If anyone wants more info, PM me and I'll ask my friend for his number. I'm guessing the guy is pretty damn good considering he's done every cop car in the county :P

I think he was suggesting that he got a ticket for his tint, and that's the reason people should get legal tint.

California Tint said they would put their "High Performance" tint for $220. They have both reflective and charcoal tint.

Both have life time warranty... my point is that it seems that LA Tint are pretty pricey compared to what all of you have posted and California Tint may be the way to go.

 

my sister got her bmw tinted at california tint. i would have to recommend them from the outcome. very clean, and she has had no issues with it.

 

GO TO CELLCOM. They are the awesome and charge around 180-210 depending. legal is 50 front 35 back for va. and 35 all around in MD. Got mine done there and I have no window frame and they got the tint to be flush against the top of the window. LA tint and california tint use plotters and dont cut the film their selves to do a perfect job. 703-538-2500 life time warranty etc AND they use solar gaurd which is some good stuff
