Stock S15 SR20DET. PO Claims its a built motor, but he's just going off what the guy he bought it from told him. before i bought it, we popped the valve cover off and everything was OEM. Supposedly it only needs a new head gasket, but we'll see once i crack into it. I got it for a seriously good deal, so even if the motor is trashed, ill still be in good shape. I put some money away just in case i need to replace the motor. The PO included a brand new cometic HG with the car, so im going to order some ARP head studs, slap the new HG on, and pray the head isnt warped!

The S14 240sx came in 2 different styles.Zenki's were 95-96 models, and Kouki's were 97-98 models. Zenki & Kouki. Basically they just have different front ends, aero, taillights. Mine is a 98, the last year they made them. There were only about 2000 Kouki's made in 98, and roughly half of those were manual. So, i lucked out and got one of the hardest to find 240's for a hell of a deal!!

BTW, if anyone wants to buy my SR'd coupe, LMK! it needs a little work to be tip top, but ill cut yall a hell of a deal!

Why not just measure variance on the head and deck while you've got it off? It'd save you a lot of time and effort if either are warped.

I know they're more rare, but 97 was just an important year for me. I plan on picking up a 97 SC300 and a 97 240SX sometime in my life and swapping an rb25 and a 1jz in them. that'll definitely be a lot farther in life. lol.
