H22 or GSR in a 95 EX coupe?

Re: H22 or GSR in a 95 EX coupe?
B18C1 (GSR motor)
Displacement: 1797 cm3
B18B1 (LS Motor)
Displacement: 1834 cc
As you know, the bore is the same with all B18 motors. The difference is in the stroke. If you use a LS crank and rods (as you should do with a LS/VTEC setup), you will have a larger displacement (by 37cm3) than you would if you simply had a stock GSR motor.

The facts of the H22 swap are as follows.
The motor will out perform a B18c hands down. The transmission isn't geared properly. The driveline angles are horrible due to the aftermarket mount companies having minor ground and hood clearances to work with. Using an adapter plate and using a B series transmission will not only solve the issue of bad gearing but will give you the driveline angle of the B/D series engine in that chassis. You will have to sacrifice hood clearance though. Check out this website. http://www.quartersportsdrag.com/
