Re: Wont start, slight oil leak
IM THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THE CAR...I CALLED AND LEFT YOU MESSAGES AND NEVER HEARD BACK.
I TOLD YOU WHAT NEEDED TO BE CHECKED, LET TELL YOU AGAIN.THE FUEL PRESSURE WAS RAISED ON THE CAR, LETS TRY TO DROP IT BACK DOWN TO STOCK (43.5 PSI ) THE CAR HAS A GAUGE. ONCE YOU DO THAT SEE IF IT HELPS. WHEN IT STARTS PINCH THE VACCUM LINE GOING TO THE FUEL PRESSUE REGULATOR AND WATCH THE PRESSURE GAUGE ON THE FUEL FILTER. DOES IT RISE WHEN YOU PINCH IF YES THE F.P.R. IS FINE AND WORKING. THE NEXT THING I TOLD YOU TO DO WAS TO ELIMINATE THE MSD IGNITION ON THE CAR. GET A STOCK DISTRIBUTOR AND PUT IT ON DOES IT HELP? IF YES THEN YOU KNOW ITS THE DISTRIBUTOR IF NO THEN WE MUST MOVE ON TO THE NEXT THING!

Re: Wont start, slight oil leak
the car never had an issue that wasnt disclosed to him prior to buying the car, might have something to do with the kid pumped 87 octane gas in a high compression motor with a tuned compter. Im sure the motor nocked all the way to vtec and now he wonders why it has issues! If you have nothing to add to this thread that is constructive fuck, off Im trying to help him resolve this issue if its able to be done!!
