They are plagued with the same problems as Cadillacs, BMWs, Benzs, and a few others...
There is a particular type of people who buy them second hand and think they have some sort of baller status " 'cause they gots a (insert previously mentioned brand here)"
Then the routine maintenance isn't done, which causes other issues. But these sorry sacks of shit can't afford the repair costs because they probably use their government check for other shit they don't need. Now the car is broken, but they'll drive it that way, burning oil, leaking, suspension and drivetrain all to shit, and then it gets junked or sold and they go get another one and repeat the cycle.

Is300 would be more fun, finding a manual is the issue. I would love to find an is300 manual but most of them are overpriced and at that price range there are other options.

I dd a IS. Two things, the auto tranny is weak as a kitten and the lack of a LSD blows. If you do get an auto, be sure to add an aftermarket cooler. Blew the trans pump seal on mine from overheating.
