kinda fucked up.....but its one of those situations that is wrong place, wrong time, and wrong state of mind. its one of those things though, that lawsuits will do nothing more then make it worse for other people.
kinda sucks that they didnt check out the leads you gave them of the "gangbangers" but look at it as a cops point of view. you are out looking for a supposed armed robber, you are going to be suspicious of everyone. you have someone looking around after you tell them to get down, and that right there sends you into fight mode, cause you have no idea what they are gonna do. he could have just as easily pulled a gun and started shooting. being drunk does not help the situation though.
hope this gets resolved, but for all those that jump on the lawsuit bandwagon, people like you are the reason why the judicial system is so fucked up now. frivilous lawsuits taking precendence over real criminal acts, and all the atrocities that occur due to lawyers finding loopholes to get guilty people out of what they did. thats another story though.

Wow, that really sucks :-\
It is true that crime around here is getting kinda out of control. I live across from Hayfield and someone stole my stereo outta my car, in front of my house.
Anyway, I still think FFX police are tools tho. Best of luck with everything.
