HJC is garbage. put some money in to a good helmet.

 

FS-15 is great for the money, tbh.

 

Maybe if it were the FS-15 Carbon but even then, it'd still be an HJC.

I have the HJC AC-12 Carbon (had it for about 3 years now, never wear it), not a fan.

 

I have a HJC CL-SP currently.. I am debating on going with an ICON or KBC

only HJC helmets i will wear or get are BFS branded.

 

HJC's are good helmets but they are the type that will give you lots of safety and good features but sacrifice weight and comfort in some areas to bring them to you at a reasonable cost. They are also good because I have a wider head, each helmet brand fits a little differently and that is something to look at when buying a helmet.

 

Bodily Injury coverage is applied to passengers on motorcycles in most cases. Even if you're married to your passenger, legally they have to sue you to get their money. Losing control of your bike on a patch of sand is usually an at-fault accident. She can sue him all day. Best bet to avoid this situation is to ride solo.

Also, I want the HJC Trophy, but want to try it on to see how it fits first.

 

HJC lids are garbage. I don't care if BFS rocks em. Remember the 08 Indy GP in the rain, wtf happened to Benny, yep, fogged up lid.
Plus I've seen 2 of my boys have their hjc visors fail permanently, while wearing it and riding. One of them actually completely detached while he was looking back and I had to dodge said visor. No fukin way. Plus they're not exactly attractive either.

+1 on passengers. Only my girl of 5 years rides on my bike., and once I do suspension this tax season, she can forget about it. I'll keep the stock shock handy to swap out if she b1tches too much.

 

Haven't had a problem with my FS-15 yet. Once I got the pinlock insert, never fogged. I'm not saying they're the best, but mine isn't as bad as everyone is making them out to be.
