When I get done with this Civic that I have now, I'll be stepping into a B5 S4, hopefully. I hear these things have wiring nightmares. Are they difficult to work on?
I love how they (S4 with KO4s) can hold their own when running with 400whp Civics and such, but when you want the luxury part, its there.

Wiring nightmares? I've neer seen it.
And they're like anything else to work on. Just more time consuming because everything is so tightly packaged.

The main difference with working on a S4 is the engine bay is very tight and you can't swap a turbo in 2 hours like you can on a turbo civic. fwiw, my last S4 did a best of 12.1@119.5mph and I was shifting easy to avoid screwing up synchros or anything. B5 S4s are getting cheap too.

Tial has new internally gated bolt-on GT28's good for around 500whp. The full GT kit from autospeed or vast costs a few $k more but I want to do it right this time around. It gets expensive buying one thing only to pull it and upgrade to another.
