when i bought the truck the owner said he couldnt get 4 wheel drive to engage, so ive been trying to figure out how/ or if these hubs are on correctly and i cant get it

its an 87 bronco, with the "tophat" style hub that was only in use for about a year before ford figured out how shitty they were, and finding replacements is near impossible. so, for what a coversion kit costs to convert over to a warn front hub....i could buy my dana 60 axle

http://broncozone.com/topic/20190-changing-hubs/

link for those curious

the conversion:

Hmmm, sorry man. I wish I had some info or advice to offer but I have nothing other than looking up http://www.rockauto.com/ and seeing if you can get replacements.

@ yanko 15, go to pick n pull and get some regular manual hubs for less than $50 bucks, i did the same thing for my f250, it had that auto shit and broke the first time i went to obx, so i went with manuals haven't had a problem for past 2 years
they have a lot of broncos for the past 2 months

Im hoping i can get my jeep ready. I lifted my jeep higher im now at about 6.5"-7" Of lift. I had to order a new Trac-Bar so im getting a custom one from Iron Man 4x4 Fabrication. Hopefully it will be in, in time for me to put on so I can take the cherokee on the trip.

Sweet, sounds good! Can't wait to see your Cherokee now! Still going 35s or keeping the 33s for now?
