Haha Thanks!

Dropped the car off for paint this afternoon. I spent most of the day trying to get the Heater Valve off the firewall and unstuck. Once I got it off it didn't take much to get it functional again.

Also, I think I've decided on a color finally.. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the same color as my fathers Austin Healey:

So I finally made a little moer progress on the dash this afternoon:

I started with this (3 broken pieces):


The best thing I could come up with on how to re-attach these pieces would be to use metal or wooden dowel pins to connect the pieces and use some 3M vinyl glue to hold everything together. Here is the result:

This is how I marked the location on the adjoining piece:


I used 2 Dowels on every piece I could:


The end result:






Overall, I am happy with the result. I will use the padded dash filler to fill in the gaps and hopefully this will also add a little bit of strength to it as well. Stopped by the body shop today and gave them the paint code and also got to see a little progress on it, but I had no camera with me
