Mapquest says 4.5 hours and has you take 17 north off of 95 to 66 then back to more non-highway roads. How long does it actually take and what's the most common route (i.e. do you go all the way to 81 on 66 then up)?

Not sure that colorado will make it up those hills pulling your vette. Especially in the little town you come to. You come to a stop sign, then turn right and its a long steep hill you have to go up.

Which route do you take?
EDIT: While I don't think I'd have an issue I do have access to a 2007 1500 Chevy w/ a full tow package and another friend runs a car lot in Suffolk and diesel trucks are his specialty.

I like going 95 to 17, then you get on 66 for a couple of miles and then get back on 17 until you get to 340. Take 340 through Berryville, take a left on Summit Point Rd, and another left on Rt 13. The track will be on the left.
Takes about 4.5 hours, but I always hit traffic so maybe you will get lucky and get there sooner.

you can also come from the other side and take 95 - 495 - 270 - 70 (for a second) - 15/340 through Charles Town, WV - take a left on Summit Pt rd and it'll be on your left.

I always go 64 to 81 and then up just the way i'm used to from going to school at JMU, it's more of a straight shot almost all highway. Only issue I ever had towing was afton mountain but it's not too bad if you've got the power to get up it at a decent speed.
