Truck stalls out when i start slowing down, braking. HELP
SoI was on my way home when my truck started stalling out when i approched a red light. It does not stall out when i am accelarting. can anyone help???

did the battery light in ur dash come on? maybe ur IACV is set to low? also check that the sensor on ur throttle body is connected n not broken in appearance. just my suggestions since no one else has said anything yet

Did this just start happening or has it worked up to this? I have the same truck, but '91 and it was doing the same thing with no CEL's or anything. Ended up being the fuel pump. Kid that I got it from ended up doing some crazy crap to the truck, diagnosing it HIS way....lulz....anyway, but that's how it started, then ended up being very hard to start. If your truck starts taking firing up/shutting off randomly try spraying brakleen down in the intake and seeing if it continues running-if so, it's the pump. Hope this helps.

come on man you ain't a real redneck if you cant find yer tps sensor. It is on the outer case of the throttle body. A 2 wire sensor, a potentiometer.
