Plastidipped my beater eclipse.
Hey Everyone,
Just picked up a beater so I can sell my Lexus ( https://www.vadriven.com/forums/impo...30-awd-458263/ ) Paint was in pretty bad shape so I figured i'd try plastidip before painting as it was more cost friendly and I am trying to save money for my wedding.
I'll let the pics speak for themselves although i should've had better before pics.
Car Pics owner posted (Sat for 2 years like this so paint was in way worse condition as stated earlier with the surface rust)

Heres the car a day after I purchased it. (Only pic I had and I added my old RMDSM lip i had from my old GSX)

You can see the rust on the roof but this is the only picture I have before I dipped the car.
Here are the stages of dipping.
1. First coat
2. Third coat (don't mind the flip flops, I just found them under the seats.)
3. 5-6 Coats with everything peeled.
Hope you enjoyed. It was fun and I may be doing my Fiance's is300 in the future.

Re: Plastidipped my beater eclipse.
Looks like primer. Congrats, it really looks like a beater now.
If you were going to apply 5 or 6 coats of something, why not use actual paint? There are lots of nice hod rod satin black paints out there right now.

It's clear you are lazy considering you didn't tape shit off. You're more than likely going to have overspray all over the place and its going to be a mess trying to bring everything back to normal.
