Default Need some help.

So, my DA decided to not start today and I wasn't able to go to work. This isn't a diagnose my non starting car thread.

I moved out to virginia around march with my fiance and life has been alright, until this. I haven't had any time to really make friends, so I don't know anyone who could help me try and fix my car. If anyone in the 757 area would be willing to come down and help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I don't have much to offer other than my appreciation.

Whats happening is the car is cranking but it isn't starting. I've narrowed it down to the ignition coil or the spark plug wires. I have no way of testing them and only basic tools and most of which are rusted out. I managed to pull a dumbass move and kill my battery by trying to start it so much.

I live in the chesapeake area for anyone willing to help. I know the rain is beating down right now and i don't have a garage, so pm me and hopefully it stops raining soon.

IIRC advance auto can test that coil for you. Also are you getting any spark?

I forgot to mention that I don't have the tools to test for spark. I didn't know that AAP could test coils tho...Thankfully its across the street from my neighborhood.

Well then you aren't very well rounded, and more than likely not as knowledgeable as you may think you are. Most of the members on this site are honda kids, plain and simple. DA refers to 2nd gen integra, LS is reference to the trim level and stock motor = B18

just because i dont know a trim package name for an acura means i dont know anything about automobiles? you're an idiot. IMO knowing the year and engine type is more helpful than a trim package. but since you are so "knowledgeable and well rounded" i suppose you can go help this kid. i guess since i am into jeeps and 4x4s, that means i cant diagnose and engine.

Just for reference, I'm 22.

Yes, its a 1993 integra rs. Stock motor, no major mods. Jut I/H/E. I know the way to check for spark by using a screwdriver and putting in the plug wire hole and cranking the engine, but see, its just me here. Room mate is out of town.
