UGH!!! I hate moving!
So, after living in my "new" apartment for a damned month, the landlords decided to tell me, ok, we arent allowing pets, so you have to get rid of your dog to stay. F - that... my dog is my baby, she's been with me for over 4 years, i'm NOT giving her up just for a stupid ghetto apartment LOL.
So, is anyone looking for a roommate - that is OK with dogs?
Steph

I got a house you can rent in downtown and keep your dog in it!
Seriously its a beautiful house. I know its not an apartment but its big and a newly renovated 18th century home. Stainless appliances, marble...the works Looking to get $1400 a month. Its a 3 bedroom and has a nice back yard for your doggy!

For about $500 a month, you can get a decent townhouse with 30-yr mortgage at 110% financed as first time homebuyer for extra loot (furniture, fence, etc). Definitely the way to go if you have a large dog.
There are a few apartments in the Far West End area near me that allow pets, but those are usually restricted in size to 40 pounds. Have you checked the free Apartment Guide (at any grocery store) for their checklist of commercial places that allow pets?
If you want a private (non-commercially owned) place, look in the classified for ones that list a fence in the ad as they will be more likely to allow large dogs.
