Halo Tournament
Anyone heard of it, some friends were telling me about it. I think it is August 9th. Anyone knows anything post it up for others like me that have too much time on their hands, and need to buy a new car...

Yes thats it..
My name is Chris and im one of the guys thats putting this all together. I will be bringing all my Dj Gear (turntables, mixer, speaker setup, vinyl) and be spinning some electronic music during the events. We already have a few large sponsors and will be giving away a 500 dollar cash prize if 16 teams show up (which they will), and the single player FFA will most likely be getting an Xbox for first place, and accessories for the following 2 places. (not set in stone yet).
registration is now up and you can register at www.vahalo.com
as soon as all your information is recieved and verified you will recieve notice on how to pay.
It will be multiplayer. Were planning on having 16 teams and 16 tv/xbox setups. Registration is $60 per team. There will also be a Free For All match which will cost about $15 and the prize will be determined based on attendance and sponsorship. There will also be an Amature tourney running for the n00bs that attend, but the criteria for playing in the amature is that you can't play in the Team tourney or the Free For All, this is in order to make sure we get only n00bs. If we have enough willing girls show up...we will also run a womens bracket!!!!!!!!

sure its free to just show up and watch
you can chill out and play the other games that are going to be their as well. My best friend is going to bring his board games that he created as well to play. He has had a few large board gaming companies want to buy the rights to them, but they wont give him a backend deal. One of them is a multiple tiered board wrestling game thats really fun to play. also i will be their spinning the tunes so come on by and say hi!
also thanks to the moderator that came through and let this thread be what it was intended to be.

My friend Dan was telling me about setting this tourny up and Micah was telling me that he was playing in the tourny with [NES]...which I want to join as soon as I get alot better...so I'm going to sign up for the n00b section...did Dan fix the reg. part on the site yet?
