got the mustang moving
Well I got my new tranny in my mustang finally. Been driving it around my garage in circles. She's runnin good and I'll get some up to date pics for yall later.
But now I need to get some antique tags to get it on the street at all. Anyone know how much they cost? I dont think I could find a price anywhere online. Car is 25 this year so she's old enough.
For those that dont know, my car is a black 83 LX T-Top with a 91 351W swap. yes, "351W". Engine also has a cam and headwork I didn't know about to add to the list of mods already done.

How did you find out if it was a clevland or windsor?
Werent you unsure a while back of what was even in the car?
Not to bash, but do you know what cam is in it or what type of headwork was done? Stock heads?

Re: got the mustang moving
I should be putting down 400+ hp and torque. Ive had alot of local ford guys say mid to high 400s. I need a new posi trac rear end because someone stole my rear gear right out of the car overnight. Need new tires all the way around too, all dry rotted from sitting for a year. Pretty solid after that.

Re: got the mustang moving
So basically you still have no clue what motor is in your car.
Please bring it up to Jenro's so we can look at it and let you know.
What intake are you running? Windsor and Cleveland are too totally different setups. You probably have a Windsor, if anything, and somebody is blowing smoke up your ass if they told you your heads were "351C spec'd". Are they spec'd to the 2V or 4V Cleveland heads? What tranny are you running?
And you're running a 9" rear?
edit: You're not putting down 400rwhp, let alone mid to high 400's.
