idling very low too low
i just got a b16 thrown in my ek and its idling low checked all wiring the distributor and the timing is on but its idling way to low please help

Check the coolant temp sensor, MAP sensor, and TPS sensor.

Check to see if you have the IACV plugged in..... if disconnected it will idle below 500 rpms

try turning the idle adjustment screw on the t-body

My first thought is TPS, second thought is distributor, maybe it's a little retarded. everyone else had pretty good suggestions too.

Something easy and cheap to do is make sure the plate on your throttle body is clean, if it has carbon buildup it will stop the airflow making the car idle low or even cut off at times. Just a thought.
