bone stock ls won't rev past 4500-5000 rpm's depending on the gear. new fuel filter new fuel line new fuel pump. got 43psi at filter. am at a total loss. any ideas? oh and when you come to a stop the rpm's drop to 450 then ease back up to 850.

vacuum leak? when you come to a stop and try driving froward does the car almost cut off?

Aside from whats been mentioned so far(timing and dizzy issues), bad electrical can cause what you're describing as well.

Start checking the wiring connections under the hood, the older your car is, the better the chance for faulty wiring. Check the fuse box under the hood as well.

I know its a diff gen. but I had an 88 Integra that I did alot of work to, and then the same problem started randomly. Ended up being very bad condition wiring going to the ECU fuse area under the hood.

I cleaned off the connections as best I could and got more of an improvement than I did while replacing parts, still scrapped the car as it was too far gone overall.
