What me and chris are simply saying is that we would not have put the kit on without having all the neccessary precautions to make sure the motor didnt blow and was tuned right. Why didnt you just wait till you had the money to do it safely instead is what we are wondering.

Do you guys even know what an FMU does? Increases fuel pressure according to the intake manifold pressure. More boost = more fuel. It can be tuned safely, I'm running one on my sr20det right now.

As for the stock exhaust, three of my turbocharged friends are currently running stock exhausts on their sr20det's, with no problems. I ran a stock exhaust for 8 months. I have it on my car now to pass inspection...and I guarantee I'd pull away from any of you (except 20psi240sx and Wagz) on the highway the way my car currently sits -- FMU & stock exhaust.

Next time, don't be so quick to criticize other people's tuning decisions if you have not had the first hand experience yourself. Theory and general rules of thumb do not always apply.

IMHO, a FMU is the absolute last thing i would use to handle the increased fuel consumption caused by a turbo. I dont like the idea of my stock fuel lines handling 100 psi of fuel pressure. I just find that about 50% of integra turbo failures are caused by fuel problems related to FMU's.

No, he can do 3" crush bent though. If you buy the mandrel bends he can/will weld up the exhaust for you, he's always been really reasonably priced with me.

So what else have you done since our matchup that would allow you to pull from me? We were definately neck and neck from 30-80. I notice you run 14psi now, so I guess more fuel.
