Tonight around 6pm Eric Johnsons Mazdaspeed Protege crashed into a tree off of Vale Road. Eric was a senior at Madison High School and was a good friend to my younger brother and came to me always wanting to come out to the race scene. He was a great kid and will surely be missed. God Bless him and his family. RIP eric, you'll be missed in all of our hearts.

He died racing on Vale, while he was wrong for doing it he was a kid and we have all been guilty of doing the same thing in some way. Hopefully this will help as a learning experience for people. Just goes to show how precious life is and how easy it can be taken away.

thanks man, he was a youngen and i always told him to be careful. I remember theday he bought his car he came to show it to me first, as if he was waiting for approval. =)

This is why I don't participate in street racing. Your life can be taken away in an instant. Sorry about your friend!!!

he was just one of those cool kids that wanted to make a name for himself in the street racing scene. Unfortunately, what he longed for, took his life. talk about poetic justice.
