neone have any idea what happens if u miss ur court date...i was supposed to go to court today for my reckless/speeding ticket but i thought it was tomorrow lol. ne idea whats gonna happen now?

 

If they want you to be there, the judge will issue a bench warrant. Otherwise, they could have tried you in your absence, and your most likely guilty if that is the case. Tomorrow go look up ur case online, and if your found guilty in absentia and there is a jail sentence, you should probably go turn yourself in asap so that your jail sentence doesn't get extended b/c of ur absence. If the charge is reckless, you should have gotten an attorney. If you have an attorney, you should go consult him/her instead of asking people on here what to do.

 

Also if you are guilty, and you don't pay your fine by a certain time your lic will be suspended until it is paid. I learned that one the hard way. You should get a couple of notices in the next week or so. Good luck buddy

Most likely they just passed a guilty judgement against you and you will have to pay the fine plus court cost even though you didn't show up. I would contact the courthouse just to CYA

a reckless ticket you have to show up for, because its not a pre payable one. you prob have a bench warrant out. i'd call the courthouse in the morning
