anyone have any experience installing frame sliders?
i want to put a set on, but i'm really weary about slicing into my fairings since i've never done it before. i'm just looking for some help doing it, i'll buy you a case of beer or lunch or something.
and it wouldnt be until a couple weeks from now, since i haven't ordered the damn things yet
thanks in advance

take silly putty and stick it on your fairing (inside) put fairing back on with the slider installed and it will leave a mark were it will go remove fairing and cut out with hole saw

i bought "no cut" frame slider for my 03 gixxer dont know if they make them for your bike but check it out. they came with a bracket to offset the frame slider outside the fairing. now if i ever wanna take them no problem. i just couldnt cut into my fairings, didnt have the heart.

i did mine a couple of months ago. put tape on the plastic to minimize damage to your paint if the hole saw walks around on you. go slow cause you only get one try. i have also heard of using a laser pointer to mark where the center of the hole should be.
