Pinks TV on speed channel anyone know this guy?
the quality on an import is faaaar greater than the one of a domestic.
and really, must of the people breaking down while making large amount of horse power are the people that cut corners.for example if you up the hp 35% dont you think you should replace the clutch?or 50% more hp wouldnt you up grade the cooling system in the car?people should really pay more attention to reliability than just slappin shit on there car.

It's clear you have all the answers..... My build is about 1/3 way through, maybe you could give me some input on where I'm going wrong?
Or is this another hopeless domestic.... don't be a TARD.
.....WTF are you rollin' in to be able to slam all domestics anyway?
when it comes down to it, the thing that makes a RACEcar reliable or unreliable is the amount of prep and the quality of work that goes into it. Especially in drag racing, if the car is properly built, any of the oem parts that could possibly break would have been replaced already. OEM engineering should be a thing of the past on a real properly placed race car. (in most cases sure OEM suspension geometry and stuff can be left of course, but i'm sure it's pretty obvious what i mean by now)
Reallllly lame show. The host is the worst part. He's trying way to hard to make a name for himself and has ruined a great concept for a show. Timed negotiations? WTF? The guy obviously has never been to a street race, but it doesn't stop him from trying to portray himself as some veteran who knows how it all works.
Just a little insider information- the guys don't keep the car, obviously. The loser can buy it back at the end of the show for exactly 100 dollars. The very first episode involved a guy from a message board based on street racing in Houston, and he and his crew posted everything people wanted to know about what was real and what wasn't. So yeah, pretty much defeats the purpose of getting people to watch when you find out it isn't quite for slips. Of course, the losers aren't obligated to buy back their car, but who the hell wouldn't? No one actually needs to call a cab to get home with the contracts they have to sign in order to participate and race.

That is key no matter if its domestic or import.
come down frosty before you melt, and if you really want my honest opinion about what's wrong with your project car:
YOU STARTED OUT WITH A DOMESTIC
