Because it's fairly easy to swap a V8 into a V6 Mustang.

All you really need to do it are the harnesses, motor mounts and the engine plus the V8 springs to fix the suspension....you can get all that on the cheap easily.

I think you need a trans too, but I'll have to see if I can find the swap material that I have somewhere

I think it would be much harder to try find a place to stroke the 6 and I think it would be more expensive to try to make the 6 better then it would be to buy a cheap V8 and install that

oh yeah, finding a pre-stroked 6 and swapping is would be much, much harder than taking out the 6, rewiring a harness, swapping ecu's, welding up new motor mounts, replacing the springs, replacing the transmission, replacing the transmission mount, then putting a v8 in.

Maybe for you...but since I can get most of the parts at a junkyard to make it work on the cheap, I'd rather do that
