Default B18C mods

What would you recomend be done to an OBDI JDM GSR swap in a 1998 civic ex

i was told i need a new fuel pump possibly, and so i'm thinking about options to build up my motor, increase spark, fuel and air. i have an AEM V2 intake, and i was told that i should get an APEX'I V-AFC, what mods would you suggest to help bring about 170-175whp or more, but more importantly run smoothly and reliably

i'm also thinking about a new exhaust, but i'm just starting research

Only reason you would need a new fuel pump is if yours is bad. If you don't want to crack that motor open, then get some cams and some good headers. You don't need the V-afc with just i/h/e.

you can do the head work all of it and then you can put a really good set of cams like tota or crower. then get a reflashed ecu. that should give you around 180 to 200 whp...

could i get a hondata ecu and a VAFC, or would the hondata ecu place the vtec crossover at an already good position?

If you have hondata, you don't need a VAFC. Get hondata, a nice header and exhaust, cams and valvetrain. Then you should be good to go.
