http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=573269

This guys 02 SS put down 333/338
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=556068

Stock 01 WS6 A4 put down 312
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=557590

Stock 98 LS1 A4 285/306
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showpo...72&postcount=5

I posted the dynos fuckstick and they show the 01-02 cars with higher dynos in stock form and a bolt on 98-00 car needs mods to match. Also notice the last 2 dynos and see the 20hp difference among the autos and 98 vs 01.

NOW STFU

Did ya read post #5 on this one....just wondering.

The last one is an a4 with 90,000 miles... are you kidding me. Who the hell knows what could be going on compression wise at that mileage.

Way to not prove anything.

Oh and they were all a ss-ws6 except for the 98....great find.

Well fuck dude, do you expect all 98-02 LS1's to have the same mileage? SS/WS6/ Z28 whatever. They are LS1's and should all make the same hp by your own admissions.

You wanted dynos I gave them to you. Now you are saying oh well the mileage is too high. Dude it's not a perfect world. Man you are like a high maintence bitch on her first date. Looks like you are bored so you are inventing shit to bitch about.

Let's put this in perspective, if he is going to modify the car none of this really matters. The parts that are different between the 01-02's and 98-00's that make the 01-02 cars make more power are going to be replaced anyway. The LS6/LS1 intakes give way to the LSX intake. The cam will be replaced with an aftermarket unit and the exhuast manifolds will be replaced with long tube headers.

You will still make a bit more power on the better heads, and the LSx intake.... don't get me started here... For about 10RWHP over an LS6 you are gonna pay like $1300. Now, would you rather pay over a grand for a Fast 90/90 and pickup 10hp or invest in a (for that price) VERY nice complete progressive or multi-staged nitrous setup?

...I see your point JDM74, don't get me wrong, it just seems silly to me that so many of the N/A guys treat that Fast setup like a first, must-have mod rather than one of those last extreme things you do on a max-effort setup.

I forgot about the heads difference when I was typing that, FWIW, my car doesn't have a Fast set up on it. Just a lil' ol' LS6 and a home ported throttle body. I went with the nitrous set up instead for the price . I too decided that the Fast crap is too much money for too little gains. I guess the heads issue would go away too if you went with some CNC ported ones or aftermarkets....
