LS3 is making big numbers... yes it's about Corvettes.

The new LS3 is 6.2 liters and has the awesome L92 heads on it from the factory. Bone stock they're making 385-390 rwhp. Intake and headers they're making 425-430 rwhp (what my car is making w/ the big cam).

Well.... LGM put a big cam in one...

So maybe a dumb questions but will the Ls3 be in the 2008 c6 model or the 2008 z06 model?

Or are they different models now??

I believe the LS3 was in this year's C6 vettes and the 08 Z06 will still have the LS7.

Correct...

LS3 = standard base model Corvette motor rated at 430hp or 436 w/ optional sport catback

LS7 = Z06 motor which is 7.0 w/ dry sump and rated at 505hp

An LS7 w/ the above mods would be 560+rwhp.
