The agency therefore partially rescinded its grant of eligibility, leaving only R33 model Nissan GTS and GTR passenger cars manufactured between January 1, 1996 and June 30, 1998 eligible for importation.
This car is a 1995,not 1996,therefore,it can never be registered legally,even if he payes the taxes,and follows the nhtsa guidelines. i have a few very close friends with 1996 gt-r which are legal here,and we also IMPORTED a smart car,one of 20 LEGALLY REGISTERED HERE IN THE UNITED STATES!!! i know a few things about bringing cars into the u.s. i have watched custom officials in baltimore,at the docks,cut mr-2's,noN crash tested skylines,and many other japanese domestic market cars in half. i had both pieces of the cr-x glasstop i tried to bring in 9 years ago,given to me at the docks in north carolina,so don't try to tell me that you know a lot about importing cars,mmmkay!!!! until you have one cut in half in front of you that is!!

Not saying you dint see the cars cut in half but how did you even get in on the docks? Are you ILA, customs ? What port did you see these skylines ? because I am ILA and I have seen a hand full of skylines come and go trough here (in PMT, NIT, and NNMT)

Primered!? I mean it's is just a gts-t but damn....
And no the car is NOT legal... the only way it would be federally legal is if it were a motorex car, and they didn't do any gts-t's it may or may not be state legal... i dunno depends on what the title looks like. But who cares... who the fuck would pay $20k for a stock primered gts-t?!?!?!?! hahaha shit's funny.
