Dropping my truck...
Just looking for opinions or advice on a new suspension setup on my 1999 Ford Ranger ext. cab 2wd. I am in the market, and looking for a pretty low stance without bagging it. Any help is appreciated, never dropped a truck before, so my knowledge of truck suspension geometry is slim to nothing.
Is there a cheap way to do it? Do i just buy springs, struts and a camber kit just like a car? I have read about hanger kits, and shackle kits, and drop springs, but can i avoid buying new control arms?

thanks for the advice. i am bidding on a full DJM lowering kit, so hopefully it comes through. Looking for a nice set of rims too, if you anyone selling some 19 or 20in. 5x4.5(114.5) rims
ah youll be ok with some 19s and about 3/4 drop. best way with the rangers is prolly springs and blocks, or lower control arms or something even though the torsion bars will work fine too if they even still have torsion bars.
edit, they dont have torsion bars! you have to do springs in the front, and either shackles/blocks/leaf springs in the rear.
