Default Loud houling noise when driving.

Now im sure its my transmission but im not sure which bearing is bad. The shaft didnt show much play at all but when i spin it it screams. No matter what speed im at it houls the entire time, the transmission also leaks a bit of fluid.

Now ive narrowed it down to either the
Output shafting bearing
or
Inputshaft bearing

But i want to make sure im heading in the right direction since ive never broken a tranny open before.

Now the tranny is never hard to get into gear,it doesnt grind any gear at any rpm,so i really want to keep it.

Car is a 93 civic lx with a 95 civic si trans.

So im looking for opinions on the problem,or anyone in the virginia beach area who i could bring the tranny to and they replace both the input and output shaft bearings. Also im sick of working on cars,so id also like a price for someone to remove the tranny(while on car) replace both bearings and seals, and reinstall the tranny.

It's more than likely the typical ISB.

u probably have a bad wheel hub bearing and its not in tranny.i would jack upone whhel at a time. When u get wheel off ground turn tire and listen for howling noise.By the way in order to spin front wheel freely u have to jack up both fronts at same time.I like to hold spring when Im spinning tire and u can also feel the bad bearing

It definatley isn't wheel bearing. We have had that motor in and out and we spun the transmission freely once, you can hear a noise internally inside the trans. Plus, it was beat to fuck when it was low/out on fluid.

Yes,when i first got it there was no fluid at all, after i put some in it was gone in about 2 weeks. As the op states,i could spin the input shaft and it would houl.

The transmission I gave you, did not include a shift fork.
