If you want the wastegate to never open just put a vaccuum line on the top port, it will hold it closed. Be ready for 4-45+ psi though(good luck gettin Eagles to hold that more than twice!).

The original profec B I'm thinking was only good for roughly 28psi..?

If you hook it up external style(using both top and bottom ports) then you have better control and can raise it more.

Also, if you don't hook anything up to it at some point it will blow the gate open when the pressure in the manifold over comes that of the springs.
Gotcha so if I connect the top port it will equal the pressures against the valve holding it shut.

It is the original profec B with 3 knobs. It's currently set, and vacuum line ran as internal. I need to purchase a fitting and redo the vacuum lines, adjust dip switchs, and see if it fixes it.

I just made another pull and got a peak of 33psi out of it, I guess lower intake temps are allowing it to go higher. Pulls like a freight train! I'm getting some ignition break up I believe as well. A/F ratios are rich, around 10:5:1 throughout the gear so more is in it. Dsmlink is estimating 59lb/min after calibrating the VE table. If that's correct, I'm about maxing out the compressor wheel.

Whats your setup? I've always loved your car, I wish the link to the video you posted a while still worked

if you lean the car back out the ignition will be ok. Thats way rich. Running that rich causes my car to want to knock!

What are your plugs gapped at?

Yeah I did some research, looks like I'm going to switch to br7es's gapped to .025 or .022 and see how it does.

Leaning it out to 12:1 or so, and bumping timing up a bit should bring some more power out as well.

yikes, 12?

I guess you runs 6's stock? I'm accustomed to the evo, so please excuse my ignorance on some of the DSM knowledge. We run 7's stock, 8's one colder. And I usually run a BPRXES. The BPXES could be considered one half step colder than its number...

BTW, Dave: Have you ever messed with boost control much on the EMS? I'm having some issues and I'm about to ditch it, but I'd like to keep it for my next project...

I would rather make power with higher boost, low timing and a 11.0-11.5 afr. you're taking a big risk, I hope that you know what you're doing.

110 octane

I usually run BPR7es's gapped at .028. The BR7es is non projected and from what I understand less prone to knock. I've read that the 8's are pretty cold plugs, if the 7's don't work I'll try them.
