Summer Tire Recommendations
KDW's (on M3): These were great tires. Very livable during regular driving, and wonderful at the limit. The rears lasted about 25k, but the fronts had at least 30% life left. They were grippy and quiet. They were great in the rain and decent in the cold. My only grip is that I couldn't tell when i would hit the limit. The threshold was very slim with these tires. I didn't know where the limit was until i hit it, and then im already loosing control of the car. (This could've been more of the car/suspension than tires).
Azenis (WRX). I've had both kinds. The grippy Sports and the less grippy ST115's. The Sports performed awesome. Very predictable at the limit. They weren't as good in the rain as I would've wanted a street tire, but as long as you don't go splashing around in puddles, you will be fin. They didn't last long at all, but like others of have said, the cheap price makes up for it. Here is the thing with these tires...they are NOISY. They almost drone at HWY speeds, and they rumble coming to a stop. This gets worse as the tires get more worn.
KUMHO SPT (M3). THey were perfect for me. Good life, good performance, good rain performance, and not noisy. The thing is, they didn't really excel in anything. They performed exactly as they were intended, with a budget and compromises in mind.

But I dunno. I know Azenis's come with less tread than most tires do anyway, so that may be why they look almost gone, or you apparently have quick tire wear on that car.
And I will say that my KDW2's had more tire noise than my Azenis's do, but i also had them on a car with stock exhaust (SRT4) compared to my mustang with an overly loud exhaust, so I might just not be able to hear the Azenis'.
That's something to do with you R32 boys and you R32 boys only. I'd say the vast majority of SVTP members run GS-D3s and can't get enough of them. And I've never heard of blister problems on anything other than R32s.

I have these on my Corvette. I had read great things about them, but was disappointed in them at first. I bought the car back in November and have been driving it in the colder weather. Now that it's warmer I can see why people speak so highly of them. They were horrible in the cold weather but I really like them as the temp's rise. In the rain the past few weeks they performed well, a lot better than anticipated.
not even kidding i saw the thread title and was going to suggest eagle f1 gs-d3's or bgf kdw
ive driven an SS in the summer with f1's and dear lord it hooked up amazingly. the grip was astonishing.
as for the kdw, ive got them on my car as of now and they are defintiely above average on grip. but im sure the kd would be even better performance with some sacrafice in wet conditions

Probably the front wheel drive and the massive amount of weight on the front tires.
where are you looking at prices? I get my re-01rs for about $110, way cheaper than any other comparable tire... granted it is a different size then what you are looking for.
If you are worried at all about driving in any rain/water, I'd go with some GS-D3's. I really liked them for what they were.
I currently have Azenis on the Cobra and for a dry weather tire, like them MUCH more than the Eagle's. Better grip in every aspect, but the one time I drove it in the wet/rain will be only time. No traction in anything but 5th as Brock can attest. That was probably the scariest/quickest beer run ever.
I cannot comment on road noise at all because every "performance" tire I've ever had has been on a loud Mustang of some sorts so it didn't affect me at all. Plus you can damn near buy two sets of Azenis for one set of GS-D3's.

I sure that I was running more negative camber before you made your current adjustments.
