Empire car show Sat. 4/26/2008
I can see where he is coming from. Seeing cars that are economical and dressed out in bolt ons to look like a cast member of F&F 4 looks about as retarded as a Ferrari dressed out in wire wheels, hydros, and candy metallic paint. It simply doesn't fit.
Then again, it's not my car or for me to worry about. I don't normally do shows anymore. When I do, its for me to take my track car out and do something different with it.

But most of those people have very nice/expensive stock cars, so you decide. Less expensive/modded cars, or high dollar ($50-150K) stock benzes, corvettes, Porsches.
Hey Vir Eurorally, You know Miles right, yellow evo, I dont have his number but i think him and a certain red evo on this forum would be a hell of a race. I know the red evo likes to play, and im certain with some convincing, i dont think it will take much but we can see this race sometime soon. Sorry to threadjack lol.

I met him one time, sweet car, but I think he was on his 2nd or third block at that point.
I don't know him. I guess we could see. Theres another 2.0/35r car running around, silver. Dunno the setup he needs me to look it over soon, supposed to call.
Let me know on the yellow guy I'll come check it out and talk to him at least. .63, he running a 2.0?

Yes I do know him. Talked to him tonight actually. He has gotten away from the drag based stuff lately.Fastest Evo hands down would be "Beef" from Winston-Salem,NC in these parts. That however is another car in another place. Then again, we are comparing a 35R to what....a 40 or 42R is it? Miles is closer to 500whp where Ben's is 600whp or in the neighborhood. Yeah it would be fun to watch but the numbers point to Ben.
Miles did have some problems with a build. It came down to head clearance issues. For some reason during the build he needed a thicker head gasket than what a majority of the other Evo builds have needed. This is from what I have gathered from when he was researching the problem on EvoM.net.
Aside from Miles and Ben, the next closest big power Evo that I know of myself belongs to a friend of mine in Danville. He is a direct distributor to AMS. He has a MR with a built 2.0 on the 35R with alky. It's a pretty solid car as well. That car is fully done to AMS specs and tuned by them as well.
I'm not sure on the a/r. I've never really looked that closely at it. The car is a 2.3.
