Most of you kids weren't into cars before that movie came out though. I remember all of us leaving hte movie theater and all of these kids driving mommy and daddy's cars were trying to race. Now they're all "street racers" - LOL!

 

I never argued which came first. I'm saying, when you see them now, thanks to F&F, that's what comes to mind.

Last time I checked, none of my cars resemble any of the cars in that movie, so I'll proudly state that my joy for cars is not a result of seeing the movie.

Speaking of license crap, get this:

I was getting on 581 yesterday evening and got KA alert on my RD. So I muted it, after looking around and seeing no cop, the signal was weak so I just continued on, not really paying attention. There were about 3-5 cars back behind me the whole time though.

When I got to the straight stretch there on 581 going towards tanglewood, I started cruising a little faster in 6th, in the left lane. Well half way down it, my girl goes "Hey look behind you.." sure enough, there's a city cop just cruising behind me, literally 2 car lengths back. I look down, i'm doing ~80, I look up at my RD, it's flashing KA signal strength 9 (the highest signal) (but no noise - remember I muted the KA alert way back) well that was the guy I didn't see, so I ignored it at that time and went on...

I slowly coasted down to around 65 mph and stayed within 5-10 mph of the speed limit. He followed me so closely, getting into each lane I got into all the way to tanglewood. I knew for a FACT he was going to pull me over, since I was going 20-25 over during that stretch on 581. Well I kept waiting for the lights to go on, but as soon as was passing Tanglewood on 419 he turned right and went into the parking lot. WTF!??!?!?! How the hell did I get away with that? Why didn't he pull me over? I was so confused, cause that was an easy ticket for him. I can't believe it happened haha, I'm never muting my RD again.

 

cuz they're not supposed to patrol 581, theres an agreement with them and the staties. Not to mention county/city...

Regardless, I'd say you did get lucky, but you were being dumb..
