Ok... its getting to be a familiar situation for me here lately, but I got another damn speeding ticket and I know my speedometer is right so I need a BIG favor. Does anyone know of anyone that could hook me up with a fake calibration before I go to court? My insurance is rediculously high now and I think my license may be in jeapordy this time. Oh, and before everyone starts telling me to drive slower and all that kinda stuff, heres what happened. I was following a mini van at 30 mph for about 15 miles or so. I had a long line of traffic behind me, so when I finally had the opportunity to pass him, I did. Well, aparently he doesn't like it when sports cars pass him because as soon as he sees me, he floors it. I had to speed up to get around the inconsiderate prick because there was a car coming at me head on at this point and I couldn't get back behind him because of all the traffic that had accumulated behind the old bastard. As soon as I get around him, I pass a state trooper doing 69 in a 55. I explained myself to him but he gave me a ticket anyway... so I need help before court. Any ideas guys??

 

pop your needle off, then glue it back on, it will be off 10mph right away. Then you dont need a fake calibration, you can get one for real, but you will need to buy a new speedo for $80, and have to pay a defective equipment ticket and court costs.

(when the needle is removed, the shaft it was on turns because there is no longer resistance, because the needle you just removed is not pressed up against the stopper anymore)

back 10 years ago or so when the first indiglo guages came out, you had to pop the needle off to put them on, it even came with the tool to do it, but the company quickly relized, they were retarded, and started making them with larger holes to go around the needles. The guages themselves are also gay now by our standards, but to be the first to have something has it's price.
