Are these cars expensive to mod & maintain? Hard to work on? I've always been very curious about mr2's. Are they reliable? (I'm guessing yes, since its a Toyota :P)

not terrible expensive to mod. 3k will get you to a reliable 300whp or so. another 6k will get you to 500+.
biggest problem is no one really knows how to work on em. If you need something done at a shop good luck. half the shops won't deal with them n most all don't know shit about the car or what they are doing.
Mine will be up for sale soon, interested?

I've got 1... err 2 of them. One big project, 93 N/A w/ Gen 3 Swap/EMS/50Trim/etc. about 95% complete, going for 340rwhp and the other is my daily, 93 N/A automatic (FTW in traffic!)
