4" ground clearance? that's about perfect. not so low (like mine) that you have to pay hard attention to what you're doing, but still low enough to have that "sled" look. gonna be a killer ride! glad you're happy with the frame.
remember what i told you about that banana caliper though. it only works about as good as my softail caliper (meaning not so great, lol) just make sure you use a master cylinder that's got the right piston diameter, and you should be ok though.
looking forward to seeing this one come together. keep the pics flowing!

is that the way the bikes going to sit or is it gonna level out with the front end your putting on it kinda looks likethe front is sitting a bit higher than the rear
seems to me like you're trying to start shit....
sounds like it to me too.
anyway, if he went back and read my prior posts, it says i was waiting for the final welding to be done, not waiting to finish the welding. i did all the fitting and whatnot and tacked up everything tight. if he thinks it's just as simple as butting up the hardtail and wlding it on, he's SERIOUSLY mistaken. there's ALOT of fitting and whatnot to be done, and making sure everything is perfectly straight. no, i didn't do the final welding. when we do frame work, since there's such a liabilty involved, we have a nuclear certified welder come in and TIG the frame. i could have MIG'ed the whole thing but TIG is alot cleaner (not scared to admit that i'm not the greatest TIG welder on the planet). we want to put out QUALITY, so we use professionals. i learned a long time ago that if someone can do something better than i can, especially when it comes down to something as important as welding a frame, i let them do it (hence why i don't paint, lol). if it was my bike, yeah, i'd have done it myself, but it's not, so i didn't. i've never had any of my welds break, even on my frames, but those are MY bikes, not a customer's. if i end up on my ass on MY OWN bike, that's my problem, but when it comes to customers, anything i can do to make sure the work is as top quality as it can be, will be done. period.
besides.. it's not even my call, it's not my shop, i just work there. if the boss wants a certified welder to do all the final welding, then that's what gets done.
as far as me being "scared"..... hahaha....hardly. just trying to make sure the customer gets the best possible product. that's called good buisness. maybe rollingstock's just not used to that.

everyone has opinions, i'll keep mine to myself.

is that english? in any case, nowhere in any of my posts, in this thread or others, does it say anything about ME doing the final welding, not that it matters anyway. not sure what your problem is (but i can take an educated guess)
