The cards are working flawlessly and are relatively quiet while operating. They are massive as most last gen cards are and require an adequate power supply to be happy. Cosmetically or functionally there is nothing wrong with either card I simply need my PCIe slots so ended up going with a single card instead of an SLI.
The cards are available for $85 each
Alone this is a very capable card and will run anything you throw at it, two of these together in SLI will run any game out @ near max settings.
