VX motor in a non VX car??
hey guys bought a d15z1 and my EG isnt a vx,I have no clue what to do to get it running/or what will i have to get?
If someone can take me in the right direction i would really appropriate.
Thanks guys. and i search and didn't find noting.
My eg model is a DX.
also i want to upgrade the intake manifold to a z6 or y8.

why are you putting it in your car? If it's for fuel economy I don't understand why you would put the z6/y8 intake manifold on it.
You'll need the correct ecu (p07) for the motor to run correct and wire it for it's 5-wire 02 sensor. There are also egr related plugs you'll need from the vx harness. There is also a black egr box that attaches to the firewall you'll need.
I had one of these in my old EF and I averaged 45-50 mpg

I got the motor for a good price,for some reason i thought it would maybe make it easier with a different IM manifold.
Do you think it would be easier to just get a VX harness?
