I drive a '94 Acura Integra LS and recently as I was driving it cut off and when I tried to start it up it would turn over fine but it would never fire up, we couldnt even get it to push start. I was told that the ignitor was bad and that it is a common problem in integras so i got the part ordered from the factory. I was wondering if it is an easy repair with just a few wires to attach or if there is all sorts of timing issues involved with it. Any advice or input would be great, thanks.
ya its easy to put n. Did u ever check to see if u had spark? It could b your coil 2.
Yea I got the spark apparently the part was recalled and whoever had my car before me didnt get the memo so I got to do the dirty work, so Im pretty sure it is the igniter. It seemed simple but I just wanted to check with someone who has actually dealt with it, better safe than sorry.
