Ok first of all i'm like u i own an 07 gixxer 1000; and for the most part those guys are right how ever most compianes won't be suppiles many aftermaket parts for the bike until the frist week in june; and what kind of aftermaket stuff you looking for: safty, stuting, racing, or just making it sound and look cooler?? while the internet sites are great; i would much rather goto my local dealership and ask the parts guys most of the time they are dealers for big parts comanys that your not going to have problems with; like lockhart phillips; parts unlimited, and trucky rocky just to name a few; they can call them and find out when your parts will be in stock and if needed can do all the hassling of them so you don't have to worry about it; but that just me; i have the current aftermaret parts; on the bike: Kr2uned bar ends and swing arm spools; and on the way: a powers stutworx crash cage; and st machine racing levers; and soon a votex powerup kit; 1 down in on the front sprocket and 2 up in the back; but that just my 2 cents; hope it helps
