What Coilover should I get??
for the money you would spend on any of them i say just get ground control and koni yellows OR save your dimes and get the tein super streets. im running the super streets with the pillow ball mounts and couldnt be happier
Look into the Bilstein Pss9's or a Koni Yellow/Ground Control Setup
If you aren't looking for adjustible ride hieght, go with Koni Yellows and whatever lowering spring ( Eibach, H&R, ect.)
My idea of performance and your idea are probably totally different. I've always had very stiff rates which are not the most comfortable thing on a street car
As far as suspension goes, stick to the germans for the best all around. H&R, Koni, Bilstein all make great products.
When I build another S2k, I'm going with Koni Yellows and a custom set of full coil springs on a threaded perch.
I don't like how short most coil over springs are.

I had the Pss's but they were just too soft. I wish I could have had the 9's. FYI, you can remove the helper spring and go about another inch lower.
Neat, and also kind of pointless
How often do you need to adjust dampening as you're driving? How often would you use it after the new/neatness of it wore off?

Eh....I guess. My husband used it all the time. He liked it stiff for everyday driving but if we went on a trip or if we were on the road for a long time he would adjust it so it was more comfortable.
It takes 5 seconds to manually adjust any of the setups we have been discussing. And you save how ever many hundreds of dollars the edfc costs. Put that money into a quality setup.
It was quality....to us. We liked it. And the EDFC is like $300. Not that much. What is quality to you may not be quality to someone else.

Had it on the WRX and loved it. Adjusting on the fly is neat.
