Ok then the "Basics" are what I am thinking of being crap. But those are still around $800.

Yeah, I dont know about you but my 1300 dollars doesn't come easy.
I don't really want to spend that kind of money on a not tried/true coilover.

Yeah. Several of my friends have the SS/Flex and whichever one takes the EDFC. They all seem to ride fine but I've never driven them to see how it handles.
(ps. i still want your civic. I want too much)

Another option is Skunk2s line of products. I personally had their coilovers and sport struts, rode very nice. A little stiff but I didn't have to worry about collars blowing out, leaking valves, shitty designs. I'm not talking about their Pro Spec C's, talking about their 200 dollar coilover and their 200 dollar short stroke sport struts.

I chose OMNI because out of all the lower end one piece coilovers, they are the most popular and have had back to back success. If you want a drag car, the omnis are hwat you want. Ratty Goat on here(aka Shawn R aka Ramey Built) went 9.80s on their street setup. They are a little stiff but I wouldn't complain for the price.

If you have only had experience with one of the listed setups, how are you supposed to justify why what you had is the best choice?

Tein = $900?
EDFC= $300

900+300= 1200

Bilstein, Buddy club, ect= About $1200= Much higher quality setup

EDIT: After looking at the prices on google, the Tein flex is coming up in the $1500-2000 range....,
OP- Are you getting the SS and Flex systems backwards? I know that the lower end system of the two is hated on by many. It seems the SS is the $900 range system.
No Ryan I'm not getting backwards the SS and Type Flex Damper. Well the Type Flex that I found go between the prices of Q$1300-1600 witch I think is too much for me. I see that many people here love the Konis/GC's and that's something that I'm gonna have to consider. Does anyone know for how much they go for??
